Nasofed Anti Viral Nasal Spray is an anti viral nasal spray that helps protect against viruses¹ such as seasonal colds and flu and coronaviruses¹. It is not however, a treatment for COVID -19. Nasofed Anti Viral Nasal Spray has unique thixotropic properties which transform the liquid spray into a thin, soft protective film on the nasal mucosa surface, creating an effective and long lasting barrier against viruses and bacteria, while delivering an accurate dose of scientifically proven anti-viral and anti-inflammatory ingredients into the nose to disrupt and prevent virus adhesion and nasal irritation.
Does Nasofed Anti Viral Nasal Spray contain steroids or drugs? 
No. Nasofed Anti Viral Nasal Spray does not contain steroids or drugs.
What are the ingredients in Nasofed Anti Viral Nasal Spray? 
Nasofed Anti Viral Nasal Spray contains the following ingredients : purified water, soybean oil, glycerol, xylitol, emulsifiers, kappa-carrageenan, fucoidan, totarol, tocopherol acetate, sodium citrate dihydrate, EDTA sodium salt, Siberian fir oil.
Can children use Nasofed Anti Viral Nasal Spray? 
Yes. Nasofed can be used in children from 1 year of age. It is drug free and steroid free. For children Nasofed Anti Viral Nasal Spray must be used under adult supervision.
How do I apply Nasofed Anti Viral Nasal Spray? 
One spray per nostril while gently pressing the other closed. Apply to each nostril, 3 times a day.
Does Nasofed Anti Viral Nasal Spray sting? 
No, Nasofed will not sting. It is drug and steroid free and contains ingredients which actually soothe and moisturise the nasal passages.
Does Nasofed Anti Viral Nasal Spray leak from the nose? 
No! The Nasofed formula causes the liquid spray to turn into a soft, protective barrier film on contact with the inside of the nostrils, which prevents the solution running off the surface of the nose.

Nasofed Anti Viral Nasal Spray should be used within 90 days after opening.
How long does a bottle of Nasofed Anti Viral Nasal Spray last? 
A bottle of Nasofed Anti Viral Nasal Spray contains 200 doses. If it is applied to each nostril 3 times a day (as directed on the in pack instructions) then 200 doses is the equivalent to 33 days of use.
Can I use Nasofed Anti Viral Nasal Spray during pregnancy? 
Although there is no evidence that Nasofed has a negative effect when used during pregnancy and breast-feeding, the use of Nasofed should be consulted with a doctor.

Nasofed Anti Viral Nasal Spray should be stored in a dry place, at a temperature of 15-25◦C, in an upright position, in its original packaging. Protect from sunlight. Do not freeze or store the product in the refrigerator. Keep out of reach of children. After use, dispose of the packaging in accordance with local regulations
