Unique Thixotropic Properties

Nasofed Anti Viral Nasal Spray features unique thixotropic properties which transform the liquid spray into a thin, soft, protective film on the nasal mucosa surface, creating an effective and long lasting barrier against external factors including virus particles, while delivering an accurate dose of scientifically proven anti-viral ingredients.

These unique thixotropic properties also prevent the solution running off the surface of the nose, giving a longer lasting protective film than conventional nasal sprays.

Anti-Viral Ingredients

The broad spectrum anti-viral ingredients in Nasofed Anti Viral Nasal Spray are scientifically proven to be highly effective against multiple respiratory viruses¹ ² including rhinoviruses such as colds and flu, coronaviruses¹, influenza viruses and bacteria causing inflammations of the nasal mucosa and sinuses.

The ingredients work by limiting the adhesion, penetration and spread of bacteria and viruses into the nasal mucosa, which are the main cause of nasal mucosa infections.

The Nasofed formulation is also a water-oil emulsion which provides effective moisturisation of the nasal cavity, so unlike other nasal sprays there is no irritation or stinging on application or drying out of the nose.

INGREDIENTS: purified water, soybean oil, glycerol, xylitol, emulsifiers, kappa-carrageenan, fucoidan, totarol, tocopherol acetate, sodium citrate dehydrate, EDTA sodium salt, Siberian fir oil.
